TODAY there won’t be free buses to take former president Jacob Zuma’s supporters to the Pietermaritzburg High Court, where he’ll appear in connection with his fraud and corruption case.
“Supporters must please give each other rides to get to court,” said supporters’ leader Nkosentsha Shezi.

“There are people who’ve taken a decision to sabotage Zuma. Even those who used to be with him in court have disappeared.”
Zuma’s defence team and the state will battle it out over his bid to have his case struck off the roll.
There was drama last month when more than 50 buses arranged to transport his supporters to the same court were cancelled at the last minute.
Zuma’s supporters blamed the ANC’s provincial leadership for the cancellation. But the party distanced itself from the matter, and said it hadn’t organised any buses.
During Zuma’s last appearance, only KZN provincial ANC Youth League chairman Kwazi Mshengu attended.
But he didn’t appear with Zuma on stage to address the small crowd.

ANC provincial spokesman Ricardo Mthembu said there was no formal co-ordination regarding Zuma’s court appearance.
He said members or leaders who wanted to go to court would do so in their individual capacities. Mthembu said no one would speak on behalf of the party.
Judge Bhekisisa Mnguni, assisted by judges Thoba Poyo-Dlwathi and Esther Steyn, dismissed Zuma’s application for a permanent stay last month.
Mnguni said Zuma must also be blamed for the delays because of his endless appeals and permanent stay applications.
