BLACK Friday is around the corner and now you can also get special deals from amadlozi.
Traditional healers, izangoma and fortune tellers have joined the long list of retailers offering special deals on a variety of products and services on Friday, 26 November.
Among them is gobela Fanyane Hlongwane, who will be offering 50% discounts on consultations.
Hlongwane from Hammanskraal, Tshwane, specialises in protection and healing. He has been a sangoma for 37 years and uses mamlambo.
“For additional services such as cleansing, the prices will also be reduced.
“Things have been tough and many people want to consult but are unable to do so due to financial difficulties. This is their chance,” he said.
Sangoma Joseph Dungamanzi from Wattville, Ekurhuleni said he would also be offering discounts.
“All my services will be open for negotiation, depending on what I’m required to do,” he said.
Dungamanzi said he has been practising since 1985 and specialised in traditional herbs.
He said he mostly used the bones.
Sangoma Katlego Hoti from Finetown, south of Joburg, is offering a 50% discount on his muthi products, including penis enlargement muthi, which he has reduced from R5 000 to R2 500. He has reduced gambling perfume to R1 500 and gogo slay queen muthi to R2 500.
Gobela Mamtolo Mangena from Tsakane, Ekurhuleni, who has 35 years experience, said she would also be offering discounts.
Some online fortune tellers have also advertised discounts of up to 75%.
Black Friday was introduced to South Africa a few years ago and has been getting bigger every year.
