THE family of Thabo Sibande is having sleepless nights.

The 39-year-old disappeared on Saturday and nobody knows where he is.

Thabo was last seen at a pub in Tweefontein A. He left with three people, a man and two women. He drove with them in his company car to his younger brother’s house in Gemsbok, near Kwaggafontein in Mpumalanga.

His younger brother Doctor Sibande (36) said Thabo arrived at his house in the wee hours on Saturday.

He said he spoke to him and left. That was the last time he saw him.

“We spoke as he was supposed to accompany me somewhere during the day. He left and told me he’d come back as he had to drop off the people who were in the car,” he said.

Doctor said his brother’s car was found in Ga-Rankuwa, but he wasn’t in it.

“We’ve been going to hospitals and mortuaries in Gauteng looking for him, but it was all in vain,” he said.

Brigadier Leonard Hlathi said a missing persons case had been opened.

He said anyone with information should contact Sergeant Abby Sebothoma on 076 997 4868.
