Nonhlanhla Phungula has warned young people not to fall into the trap of drug smuggling.
The 30-year-old was speaking yesterday at an anti-corruption day organised by the Airports Company SA at King Shaka International Airport in Durban.

The former jailbird was released on parole in 2017 after serving five years at Joburg Prison for smuggling drugs.
Nonhlanhla from Bulwer, southern KZN, was working as a waitress when she asked a customer for a job.
The man, who turned out to be a drug trafficker, called her a few days later and said he had found her a job picking up parcels in Brazil.
After picking up her first parcel in 2012, she was caught with drugs when she landed at OR Tambo International Airport.
“I want the youth to resist the temptation of a good life as it will lead them to jail.”
