The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) arrested 11 Tshwane Metro Police Department officers on Friday over allegations of assault.
The officers are accused of assaulting three men who were at the Tshwane impound centre to collect their car on 2 October.
"The officers have been arrested and will appear [in court] on Monday," IPID spokesperson Grace Langa said.
She added they would spend the rest of the weekend in the cells at the Pretoria Central police station.
"We arrested nine males and two females."
The officers are between the ages of 29 and 45.
IPID said it struggled to track the officers down, adding different strategies were employed to find them.
They will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Monday.
