HE knew while growing up that he wanted to make a difference in people’s lives.
Today, Godiragetse Mogajane is the owner of Delivery Ka Speed, that offers food delivery services to nearby townships around Hammanskraal, Tshwane.
The 24-year-old has employed 14 locals and is proud to uplift the community.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Godiragetse said when he moved to Joburg, he was inspired by how easy it was to order meals and have them delivered on time.
“I realised how easy life is when people have the means to easily get meals at home,” he said.
“That’s when I started playing around with ideas on how I can bring something similar to my kasi.”
He said it gave him pleasure to know that he was contributing to fighting joblessness in his community.
“I’ve created job opportunities for six people, who are doing marketing and receiving calls from those who place orders.
“I also have eight scooter drivers.”
Godiragetse’s vision is to see his business spreading to other kasis.
When he’s not handling business matters, he’s studying part time.
“Just after finishing matric, I knew I wanted to be in business. And, my first business was called Goodie Tutor.
“We help people with any subject for those who need extra lessons,” he told the People’s Paper.
