AFTER crashing his BMW into a house, a driver was allegedly found to be five times over the booze limit!

The 29-year-old was driving a silver BMW 1 series on Sunday night when he drove through a fence and slammed into a house in Dobsonville, Soweto.

The house was along a curve.

It was believed the driver lost control of his vehicle as he approached it.

Luckily, no one was in the bedroom he had crashed into at the time of the incident.

But the four-roomed house was left with a huge hole.

Metro police spokesman Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said the man was taken to the Dobsonville cop shop.

“His reading was more than five times above the legal limit. He is facing charges of reckless and negligent driving as well as for driving a vehicle while under the influence of liquor,” he said.

The family refused to comment on the matter when approached by the SunTeam.
