Corruption is a societal problem affecting or impeding the service delivery of Mzansi.

It has been a major economic setback to so many African countries, including South Africa.

It keeps destroying our lovely country.

Leaders come and go in government, but corruption still remains.

In fact, it is often regarded as “the evil” that negatively affects the developmental strides in public administration and the political system.

Corruption has been well-documented to have a ripple effect of the socioeconomic status of the citizens.

Our country could have been far, had it not been for corruption and corrupt officials.

It has weakened the instruments of preserving order.

It also happens in churches, the holiest parts of this world and most societal institutions. Greedy individuals are corrupt.

Even if a different political party takes over from the ANC tomorrow, corruption will still be there.
