DEAD MAN SPEAKS AT HIS FUNERAL!
Truck driver Dumisani Ngwenya (50) from Newcastle, who drives between Durban and Joburg, said he sees cows on the road near Cato Ridge west of Durban all the time.
“They’re always on the road. This is a disaster waiting to happen,” said Ngwenya.
Motorist Bheki Sosibo (34) from Pinetown works in Pietermaritzburg.
He drives on the N3 every day.
“When I pass Cato Ridge, I see cows grazing on the roadside and sometimes they cross to the other side.
“The only solution is for government to fence the road to avoid accidents.”
Road Traffic inspectorate spokeswoman Zinhle Mngomezulu said traffic cops are called all the time to remove cows blocking the road.
