But the 28-year-old from Diepkloof in Soweto said she struggled to come to terms with losing her right leg in an accident last year.
“We went to my cousin’s wedding in KZN. Unfortunately, we were involved in a car accident on our way back to Joburg.
“I spent a week in a coma. My family was told I’d be brain dead if I didn’t wake up in a week.
“I didn’t recognise myself when I woke up. I asked myself how I was going to live with one leg.”
Ntokozo said she replaced these thoughts by thinking about things that made her happy.
“Reality kicked in when I was home as I couldn’t do most things,” she told Daily Sun.
“I had to call my nieces and nephews even when I wanted to take a bath.”

Ntokozo said she could get her life back on track with the help of an artificial leg. She needs help to get one.
She said even though she’d been going through her own problems, she volunteers at an NGO called Tholu’lwazi, where they educate young children about HIV.
“I’m a peer educator and we deal with HIV-positive adolescents,” she said.
“We counsel them. We also take them on camps to encourage them.”
