SHE has four protection orders against her abusive husband.
But none of them are protecting her.
Instead, the 47-year-old mum of four from Chief Luthuli in Cloverdene near Daveyton, Ekurhuleni lives in fear of her husband.
She said her husband was arrested for domestic violence in 2011 and given a three-year suspended sentence.
She said she hoped he would be rehabilitated and become a better husband and father, but he’s become worse.
“My husband has been living in the outside room since 2011 after he was ordered by the court to do so.
“But this does not stop him from coming into the main house to assault us,” she said.
“We have a whistle we use to alert neighbours when he attacks us. We live in fear because he’s always threatening to kill us.”
The woman said they have resorted to locking themselves in the house.
“He swears at me and my children. He beat me and the children. My children are traumatised. I just want help,” she said.
She told Daily Sun she’s been to social workers and the police, but has still not received any help.
“I applied for protection orders, but he keeps violating them and boasting no cop will arrest him,” she said.
She said she applied for a protection order on 16 August when her husband beat up her children for no apparent reason.
The woman is so scared of her husband. She asked to meet the SunTeam away from the house.
“He’s aggressive. He would apologise after beating me.

“I’m tired of the way he treats us. Our home is like a prison. The kids don’t play outside because they fear him,” she said.
Daily Sun spoke to the husband, who admitted to knowing about the protection orders.
But he denied threatening his wife and kids with death.
He said that his wife did not want to fix things with him.
Sergeant Lerato Mopeli of Crystal Park Police Station advised the woman to open a case against her husband.
She said she would visit the woman to see how best they could help her.
