JUDGING by matrics’ optimism after writing their business studies paper 1 yesterday, Mzansi can look forward to lots of business people getting into the market soon.

Matric pupils from across the country were very upbeat with the paper.

They said it was easy and were expecting good marks.

  • NORTH WEST: Pupils from Grenville High School in Rustenburg said the paper was a walk in the park.

Katlego Sepheka (18) said she thought the paper was tricky but in the end she found it was really easy. Boikarabelo Peele (17) said: “I wrote well and I am sure that of the 300 marks, I will get 170 or above.”

Masego Masilo (18) said she managed to answer all the questions on time.

  • MPUMALANGA: Jacob Mashaba (20) from Zakheni High School near Kwamhlanga said: “The paper was not that difficult, but the questions were too long and time was not enough. I am sure I have passed.”
  • KZN: Sabelo Makhanya (17) from Ilanga Secondary School in KwaDabeka, west of Durban, said the paper was very easy.

“I will get more than 180 marks.”

Nwabisa Mrwebi (22) said she would also pass. “The revision sessions we had at school were worth it,” said Nwabisa.
