FORMER president Jacob Zuma’s supporters have arrived at the Pieter Roos Park in Parktown, led by the Umkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA).
Zuma is expected to address the crowd after testifying at the Zondo commission of inquiry into state capture.
While testifying at the commission, Zuma said he has been provoked numerous times and he did nothing about it.
According to Zuma he never thought he would be nasty to people, he said however, he's going to be nasty because they provoked him.
Addressing the issue of ANN7 and the New Age newspaper, Zuma said he approached the Guptas to establish the newspaper, because there were no alternative voices.
He says the Guptas agreed with his idea and implemented the idea.
Zuma further said that when the newspaper became successful, he then suggested to the Guptas that they start a TV station.
The former president says he is the one who put the Guptas in trouble, and not the other way around.
Zuma said his distractors are doing everything in their power to make the corruption case against him stick.
