THE
South African Police Services and Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department
are conducting a raid in the flats of Hillbrow.
Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson Wayne Minnaar said the joint operation is on bad buildings in Hillbrow and the Johannesburg CBD.
“The focus will be to look for criminal elements, criminal activity and City by-laws which are being contravened,” Minnaar said.
Minnaar further said they have arrested 50 suspects from one of the buildings that they raided.
