A video footage showing a traffic cop sleeping on duty has gone viral on social media.
In the video, shared by Crime Air Network on Twitter, the cop from Free State can be seen taking a nap while sitting on the boot of the car.
An unattended speed camera is seen on the side of the car while his colleague attends to another motorist.
It is unclear when the incident happened.
