TWO men were shot and wounded near the Apex Train Station in Benoni on Wednesday.
Accroding to ER24 paramedics, when they arrived at the scene they found two people with gunshot wounds.
ER24's Russel Meiring said, a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds and he was in a critical condition.
Another man, believed to be sixty years old, was found with a serious gunshot wound as well to his abdomen.
"Both men were treated and stabilised on the scene before they were transported to hospital," Meiring said.
Eyewitnesses said that both men were on the train when the incident occurred.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known.
