Houses were wrecked when a tornado hit Ennerdale in the south of Johannesburg yesterday just after 6pm.
According to videos and pictures posted on social media by users, the tornado destroyed roofs and walls of several homes.
Emergency services were dispatched yesterday to assess the damage.
