There are reportedly three Cash-in-Transit robberies that took place on Monday morning across the country.
The first was reported in Gerwel in Vanguard Drive in Cape Town.
Two G4S money trucks were targeted on Jakes Gerwel and it is not yet clear if anyone has been injured.
News, Accidents, Robberies & Incidents reports that the road has been closed in both directions between Weltevreden road and Turfhall Road.
Motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes.
News, Accidents, Robberies & Incidents further reported that in Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal a Cash-in-Transit robbery was reported on the route out towards Utrecht.
Suspects fled in a White Ford Focus, and White Mercedes Benz. Registration numbers unknown.
In Pretoria, Cash-in-Transit Security Guards were attacked this morning inside a Sheet Street store.
Western Cape police have confirmed there was a cash-in-transit heist on Jakes Gerwel Drive, near Hanover Park in Cape Town, on Monday morning.
"At this stage I can confirm that there was a [cash-in-transit heist], but we are still gathering more information," Colonel Brenda Muridili told News24.
