THREE men were shot and killed near Mitchell's Plain.
Police spokesperson FC van wyk, said the men were in a car at the corner of Eisleben and Morgenster roads in Lentegeur when unknown men in another car opened fire on their vehicle.
Two shooting incidents happened in the area of Bonteheuwel in the past 24 hours claiming the lives of two people.
Van wyk said cops in Cape Town are investigating several shooting incidents, all believed to be gang related, on the Cape Flats.
He said they are investigating the incidents: “All three men are believed to be aged between 21 and 43 years.”
“It is believed that the men were on their way to Mitchell's Plain and at the intersection unknown suspects driving in an unknown car fired several shots fatally wounding these men,” van wyk said.
