Sparks are expected to fly as the State Capture Inquiry has begun on Monday.
The Commission will be chaired by Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.
The Commission was established to look into allegations of state capture and abuse of power against former president Jacob Zuma.
Former Public Prosecutor Thuli Madonsela released a damning report in 2016 in which she exposed corruption at state-owned entities, implicating Zuma, his son Duduzane and the Guptas in capturing the state.
The commission is expected to unpack the corruption in the state, and how Zuma allegedly abused his power as a president to win deals for the Guptas.
Zuma himself is expected to give testimony at the inquiry.
The Commission is also expected to receive the testimonies of former deputy finance Minister Mcebisi Jonas and and former ANC MP Vytjie Mentor.
Both allege that they were offered influential government positions by the Guptas.
