MATRIC pupils wrote Pedi paper 1 and Sotho paper 2 yesterday.

Most said they found the papers refreshing following Monday’s difficult physical science paper 2.

  • LIMPOPO: Fernando Maluleke (19), from Motsheudi Secondary School in Ga-Sekgopo Village outside Modjadjiskloof, said the paper was easy but question five was a bit difficult.

“Questions one to four were simple but question five was tricky,” said Fernando.

“But I’m confident that I’ve passed the paper because I went in prepared. I just can’t wait to write paper 2.”

  • FREE STATE: Pupils who wrote Sotho paper 2 found it to be the easiest.

Mokoaleli Moleboheng (17) from Navalsig High School said: “I wrote fairly easily and I enjoyed myself.

“I didn’t have to study for the paper as Sotho is my home language. I want to study medicine next year.”

Refiloe Letebele (18), also from Navalsig High School, said: “Sotho is the paper I’ve enjoyed the most so far.

“I’m confident that I’ve passed. We didn’t need to prepare for it because it was mostly comprehension.”
