A PERVERT preying on schoolgirls will never mess with them again!

A man in his late 30s got the beating of his life by angry pupils at Sompukane Secondary School in Nsimbini, near Folweni, south of Durban on Monday.

The man allegedly pulled up a 13-year-old pupil’s skirt, grabbed her bum and spanked her in view of other pupils.

The grade 8 pupil told Daily Sun she was on her way home when the incident happened.

“I was walking home with a group of about seven friends. Lots of other kids from our school were walking behind us. I immediately screamed for help.

“When the other kids saw what was happening they grabbed him by his clothes but he ran away,” said the girl.

She said the pupils chased him down the road. Residents joined in and the man was caught near the Ezimbokodweni River.

“We all took turns klapping and hitting him with our fists. What he did was a disgrace to all men. We beat him until he apologised,” said a pupil.

A resident added: “We’ve never seen the man before. He is definitely not from around here. After he apologised, we set him free and he just kept running.”

KZN police spokesman Major Thulani Zwane said the pupil could still go to her nearest cop shop to report the matter.
