“MY brother is a spoiled mama’s boy!”

These were the angry words of Gloria Themba (52), who is fighting with her brother, Gray (39), from zone 1 in Ga-Rankuwa, Tshwane. But Gray said his life was miserable since his mum, Margaret (78), was taken to an old age home.

He says his sister, Gloria, forced their mum into the home.

“My mum is in good shape and if she has a problem, I will take care of her,” he said.

Gray said he couldn’t do anything without his mum and his sister was making things worse.

“I don’t have a job and the money the tenants pay goes to my sister. I don’t get any cent from her. She treats me like an animal.”

But Gloria is having none of it.

“He cries all the time and says he misses his mum. I took our mum to a home after she had a had a stroke caused by stress. My mum stayed with my two sons and Gray, and they were all stressing her out.

“They would ask for money from her and she was their provider.”

“Moving our mum from her house was to protect her. She spoiled my brother but I won’t let it continue. He can go to hell. I’m not sending my mum back there.”
