A Limpopo man will be spending the rest of his life behind bars after he was slapped with a life sentence for raping a young girl.
Naville Phadima Koma was sentenced to life imprisonment at the Burgersgfort Regional Court in Burgersfort, Limpopo on Friday (16 February) for raping an 11 year-old girl.
It is reported that Koma committed the horrible crime in November 2015 at Ditwebeleng village near Burgersfort.
Koma lured the girl to a friend’s house, and it was there that she was repeatedly raped.
Limpopo Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe said that the hard work of the Family, Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit contributed to the long prison term sentence.
