SOUTH African radio legend Rowena Baird has died.
Rowena reportedly died on Friday morning, she gave in on the fight against cancer.
She started her broadcasting career in the mid 1980’s at Radio BOP.
Rowena also was also a television presenter with a series of voter education programmes under her belt.
She was also a co-presenter of The Breakfast Club on SABC Television in the late 1990’s.
Rowena saw her role as creating and being part of the public speech and leading and officiating over national debate, using the platform of radio.
