FORMER Bosasa auditor Peet Venter has told the Zondo Commission of Inquiry that Angelo Agrizzi threatened him with invoices.
He says he was involved in Consilium, which is an independent labour broker company that provided services to the Bosasa Group.
This company handled the payroll and employed people on behalf of the Bosasa Group.
According to Venter, Angelo Agrizzi, Bosasa CEO Gavin Watson and Andries van Tonder were paid from Consilium as employees.
“I didn't want to do it. Agrizzi came to me, he showed me all the evidence, documents that accumulated over time.”
“He said to me that 'you either go down with Watson or you prepare a statement like we've done”, he said.
Venter said: “Agrizzi threatened me with invoices. He could destroy me.”
