SOCKU Ndingwe’s tavern is the place to be if you want a good time.

Popular people visit the tavern in Zandspruit, Gauteng because dangerous weapons are not allowed.

But on Sunday, when six men were refused entry to the tavern they smashed windows and slashed customers’ car tyres.

The suspects then fled but were later bust.

“The men had been refused entry and were taking revenge,” Socku told Daily Sun.

“But they were arrested after they damaged my windows and patrons’ cars.”

He said he has created a safe place for his customers.

“My tavern attracts many customers, including famous people, because they feel safe here.”

Socku showed the SunTeam knives, screwdrivers, toy guns and other dangerous weapons taken from patrons before being allowed into his tavern.

Captain Balan Muthan of Honeydew cop shop confirmed the incident.

“Six suspects were arrested and will appear in court soon,” he said.
