SIX teenagers accused of killing Thoriso Themane were denied bail by the Polokwane Children’s Court in Limpopo yesterday.
A 13-year-old who was bust last Friday after his parents handed him to the cops was also denied bail.
All suspects are being kept in jail and will appear in court again next Friday.
The other accused, aged between 13 and 16, were denied bail last Thursday while one of the three adult accused was acquitted of a murder charge.
Two other accused were released on R1 000 bail each on Monday.
The accused allegedly attacked Thoriso (28) at Flora Park dam last month while he was returning from a church service.
He apparently tried to run away but was caught hiding in a yard. He was badly beaten and later died in hospital. His brutal death shocked the nation when video clips of the attack hit social media. Thoriso was buried two weeks ago.
His funeral was attended by Limpopo Premier Stan Mathabatha and Police Minister Bheki Cele.
