It is understood the woman was on her way to fetch her daughter from school, when she ran out of petrol.
She said her petrol gauge was not functional when the officer pulled off.
Motene drove her to the nearest petrol station and paid for her petrol before driving her back to her car.
According to the woman, Motene was concerned about her safety as the area had several crime incidents.
