GUILTY RAPIST SHOUTS AT JUDGE!

accreditation

SERIAL rapist Khutso Mailoane yesterday again spat on the hurt and pain of his victims as he interrupted court proceedings.

Judge Simon Radasi in the South Gauteng High Court found Mailoane guilty on 41 counts of rape, 39 of kidnapping and 29 of robbery and assault.

But as the judge read through the lengthy judgment, Mailoane stood up and shouted.

Mailoane complained that he didn’t know anything about the charges: “I don’t know these charges. How can I be found guilty of things I don’t know? I have said before that I deny these charges against me.”

When the judge told him to sit down, Mailoane wouldn’t listen.

He continued to complain until Radasi ordered orderlies to take him to the cells.

The judge said all the offences had striking similarities and Mailoane had failed to explain how his DNA was found in the victims’ private parts.

Earlier in the day, Mailoane jumped up from the dock and went down to the cells without asking for permission.

After lunch, Mailoane apologised.

“I beg for forgiveness. I was hungry,” he said through his lawyer, Selby Nyathi.

The matter was postponed to 3 October for sentencing.
