NOMONDE Sawule, known to her followers as a prophet , was named the Land Party’s Gauteng premier candidate yesterday.

Speaking in Fourways, Joburg she promised huge changes, including building glass cop stations.

Sawule said: “Every citizen should become a cop in their own right.”

The party was formed last year but was only registered with the IEC this week.

Leader Gcobani Ndzongana said glass buildings would allow people to know what was going on inside cop stations.

“Police are having sex on duty, drinking and using their phones instead of opening cases. We want them to be transparent.”

Ndzongana said they want every citizen to learn police procedures.

The party also wants to improve the lives of homeless people.

Sawule said: “We’ll accommodate them and give them skills to find work.”
