THE group of friends went out on Saturday night to have fun.

But for Ntuthuzelo Maneli (20), who left the others early, there will be no more parties.

The young man from Soweto on Sea, near Port Elizabeth, was shot dead in cold blood!

He had left his friends early on Sunday morning after an evening of drinking and walked back to his shack.

Police Captain Andre Beetge said: “Three suspects knocked on the door, pretending to be police. When Ntuthuzelo opened the door, they told him they were looking for his friend.

“The men took him outside, shot him four times in the upper body and ran away.”

Ntuthuzelo’s 25-year-old friend told Daily Sun: “He told us that he was hungry and couldn’t drink any more on an empty stomach. He left with my phone and later I went looking for him. I came across his lifeless body in front of his shack.

“I am shocked and still emotional. I lost a great friend – we were very close. We talked about everything.

“God will deal with the cruel killers. I hope the law takes its course and they rot in jail.”

Ntuthuzelo’s father didn’t want to speak to the press.

Police are investigating a case of murder. No one has been arrested yet.

“Anyone with information should call the police on 10111,” Beetge said.
