SHE made sour pap for her family just the way they like it, but then something surprising happened.
When Regina Mulovhedzi (47) from Dzwerani Village outside Thohoyandou, Limpopo poured the mixture into a big pot on Saturday, she noticed the pap had changed colour.
“It was after I had prepared the pap and was about to dish it up when I noticed the coloured marks in the pot. When I looked closer, I saw there were beans in the pot,” said Regina.
She said they did not have beans in the house.
She took some beans to show to her husband, who was also shocked.
Regina had to cook another meal for the family and kept the coloured pot.
“We believe someone with harmful intent is behind this. I don’t have enemies,” she said.
“I might be having faceless enemies. I fail to understand why a normal person would want to harm us.”
Traditional healer Matamba Mamuremi of the Vhangana Indigenous Traditional Health Practitioners said Regina should take the matter seriously.
“It’s either an evil force at work or there is a person who wants to harm the family.
“She must not think it’s over. She must look for help from a traditional healer, who will perform rituals to cleanse the home,” said Mamuremi.
