TSHEGOFATSO Sihlabela, who allegedly shot and killed her boyfriend Moses Tibane (35), is out on R1 500 bail.

The 26-year-old appeared in the Calcutta Magistrates Court in Mkhuhlu, Mpumalanga yesterday.

She was not asked to plead.

Investigating officer Detective Sibusiso Sebiya told the court he won’t oppose bail because Sihlabela is a first-time offender and not a flight risk.

Sihlabela was willing to hand over her passport.

She was arrested last Monday soon after the incident happened.

She allegedly shot her boyfriend three times during a fight.

Moses’ sister Patience (32) said she was disappointed that Sihlabela was granted bail of R1 500, which she said was too little.

Moses was buried on Saturday at Marite.
