HE told his tenants that he didn’t have any family.
With his last words, tenants claim Johannes Mthethwa (74) told them to bury him and not allow anybody to take over his house.
But soon after he died, his ex-girlfriend Vivian Kunene arrived to claim his house and body.
Now Johannes’ body has been lying in the mortuary for two weeks as the tenants and the ex-girlfriend fight over his body.
His tenants in Alexandra, Joburg, say Vivian (60) is a gold-digger.
Palesa Maweng said: “She waited for this man to die and now she wants to bury him and take his house.
“We are prepared to bury him.”
They said Johannes applied for the house using Priscilla Mzimkulu’s ID. The Gauteng Department of Human Settlements in has confirmed this.
“We want this Priscilla or her family to come and claim the house.”
Vivian said: “If I find out that my children are the beneficiaries of the house, the tenants will have to go. My kids are Johannes’ stepchildren and should be beneficiaries for the house.”
