Thobela FM DJ, Arthur (Fantastic) Sebola is in hot water for
allegedly attacking a listener on social media.
This happened after the listener reportedly posted on his timeline that Fantastic, got the job through his sister in law who is in a management.
Fantastic has been suspended for the past two weeks now, charged with bringing the station into disrepute.
The DJ allegedly attacked the listener in his Facebook inbox, and it all came into the public when he made screenshots and posted the incident on his timeline.
In one of the screenshots seen by Daily Sun DJ Fantastic wrote “How do you feel as a person when you mislead people and lie to the nation that my brother in law is married to the programmes manager. Sir I got into radio in 1993. I was employed again in 2006 by Ronnie Makgothokgo who was the programmes manager.” He said in a message.
The listener says he felt offended when he saw the attack in his inbox.
“When I posted about presenters working in that station being relatives, i never thought it will turn personal, but I made screen shots of the messages he was sending to me and posted them on my timeline.
“Thobela FM is a public entity so we want transparency and good management of the station,” he said.
SABC spokesperson Neo Momodu said DJ Fantastic will be on air this Sunday after he was unscheduled from presenting two shows.
"The SABC will not go into the details as this matter is between us and Fantastic." said Momodu
