POPULAR actress Enhle Mbali Maphumulo was robbed on Tuesday afternoon.
Three armed men allegedly wanted to hijack Maphumulo in Hyde Park, Johannesburg.
She was reportedly driving a new Porsche 911 Targa, which her husband DJ Black Coffee had recently bought for her.
Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubele confirmed with Sowetan that the robbery happened.
"We are aware that she was robbed because the police attended the scene ... we're still to obtain a statement from her as to what happened," Makhubele said.
According to TshisaLIVE, Maphumulo was accosted by three armed men, two with guns and one of them had a hammer.
He allegedly stopped in front of her car, pulled her out and took her jewellery.
She was then then rushed to hospital shortly after the incident.
