HE used to heal his congregation with Dettol, but now, claims the pastor, he has something even better.
Through God’s power, he says he makes antifreeze taste like other soft drinks.
Pastor Rufus Phala of the AK Spiritual Christian Church in Makotopong Village, outside of Polokwane, Limpopo told Daily Sun when his members drink antifreeze, it becomes their favourite drink. “My antifreeze heals my people.”
Phala said God told him the ministry was challenged by Satan and the antifreeze would chase Satan’s spirit from his church.
He said the liquid, normally used in car engines, brings healing and peace.
“I drink it and miracles happened in my life. The scriptures said with God everything is possible and He said miracles will follow those who believe.”
Phala claimed the antifreeze stops boozers from drinking beer. “This can only be dangerous to the congregation before God. Whatever I’m doing is a message from God.
“I shouldn’t be judged.”
Limpopo health spokesman Thabiso Teffo said antifreeze is dangerous.
“People should ignore such churches as this is a disgrace. Patients aren’t healed by dangerous liquids.”
