Rapper and TV presenter, Mthoko Mkhathini, who goes by the name Zulu Mkhathini is celebrating a major milestone.

The Uniform hit-maker has announced that the video for the single, his first and only single has reached one million views on YouTube.

Zulu joins a number of Mzansi star’s whose music videos have reached that milestone.

Although that is becoming a more frequent occurrence lately, it is still something worth celebrating as this was very rare two years ago.

The stylish musician thanked his fans on social media for their endearing support of his work.

This is Zulu Mkhathini’s (formerly known as Dash) first single since he left the rap trio, DreamTeam, forcing them to become a duo.

Rumours of split made the rounds eight months ago, with Zulu and his former group members Trey and Saso denying the split.

The Daily Sun later confirmed that Zulu had indeed left the group and that Trey and Saso were releasing their first project without him.

Although the group isn’t as popular as they used to be, they continue to work on their brand and are expanding into other ventures like fashion.

Zulu has also since gone on to release his first solo single, Uniform featuring DJ Tira with a full album on the way.

In September this year, Zulu also announced that in addition to everything that’s already on his plate, he is also working on his own clothing line that will help solidify him as a bonafide entertainment and lifestyle brand.
