Popular rappers, Tebogo ‘Proverb’ Thekisho and Siyabonga ‘Slikour’ Metane have joined forces with Nasty C to support a worthy cause.
Last week, Nasty C launched 1120 under 5, a social movement campaign, between Nasty C and KFC’s Add Hope initiative, that was created to highlight the impact of and work towards eradicating childhood hunger and malnutrition in SA.
KFC has identified that 1 120 children under the age of five die every year in South Africa due to malnutrition.

Together with Nasty C, they have vowed to pull as many big names as possible to help them raise awareness around this issue and also raise funds to put the injustice to an end.
Thus far, they have managed to rope in Proverb and Slikour who are major brands in SA and will use their star power to urge people to donate to Add Hope as much as possible.
“Ive taken a stand with #AddHope to drop this stat #1120under5. Join the movement,” said Proverb.

Slikour reiterated Pro’s words, saying: “This isn’t a trend. This is a topic we should all be talking about. We’re dropping this stat with Add Hope and you too, can join the movement”.
