Comedian, actress and radio presenter Tumi Morake, is heartbroken after her sister was recently hospitalized.
The comedian’s sister was allegedly a victim of assault and her children witnessed the unfortunate incident.
Morake took to social media to share how her heart was bleeding for her sister and also challenged men to "do better.”
“I am in the East Rand at a hospital as my sister is being treated for burn wounds after having her head pounded and thrown on the floor infront of her toddlers,” she tweeted.
“I love her. My heart is bleeding. I won't call men trash, but my God you can do better men.”
The 36-year old urged people to extend a helping hand to victims of domestic violence regardless of whether or not they ask for it.
“We must save our sisters where we can. Only they can save themselves, but we can extend a hand that says we are here,” she added.
