Sony Music Entertainment Africa welcomes Amapiano visionary, Pencil to the global family.

Popularly known for his smash hits Tswara (2017), Serope Kontle (2017) and Suna Papa – vocalist Pencil is one of the forerunners of the new genre Amapiano which is taking the country by storm. 
 
Well known for blending Pretoria slang into dance music, Pencil is set to release his EP titled NEW AGE KWAITO with the lead single Vukuzenzele featuring Riky Rick on Friday 14 September 2018.
 
“I am all about progressing the sound – I love kwaito and my music is influenced by kwaito – what I am doing is infusing kwaito elements into amapiano on New Age Kwaito”.
 
NEW AGE KWAITO is a 3-track EP - guaranteed to be on rotation and every Summer playlist – featuring Villa on Gucci and kwaito legend Thebe on Spikiri which also features Villa.
 
The lead single Vukuzenzele featuring Riky Rick is a dance smash with a message to stand up and do things for yourself in life. Vukuzenzele is produced by Zingmaster, Pencil and Riky Rick.
