The Daily Show with Trevor Noah had a record-breaking month in October.

It was the most-watched month ever among total viewers and its highest-rated month since February among adults 18-49, and Comedy Central’s target millennial demographic of adults 18-34.

The news follows a record-breaking October in the US for the Noah-helmed Daily Show, in October, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah was the highest-rated and most-watched, daily late night talk show in the US among millennial men (18-34, 18-24) and #2 among all millennials (18-34, 18-24).

Digital viewing also soared in October with full episode starts up +36% across digital platforms with the weeks of 10 and 17 October standing as the two best weeks in 2016 for digital full episode consumption.

For October, The Daily Show added an average of 700K full episode streams per episode across digital platforms – a massive 50% digital boost per episode.

Hot on the heels of the great viewership month The Daily Show with Trevor Noah approaches the US presidential election with a one-hour Democalypse 2016 followed the next day by a post election episode looking at the results.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah – Democalypse 2016 will air on Comedy Central Africa (DStv 122) on Wednesday 9 November at 21:00.

The post election episode will air on Thursday 10 November at 21:00.
