Veteran Actress, singer and playwright Thembi Mtshali-Jones is set to receive the living legend award at the 2019 National Black Theatre Festival.
She is best known for her roles in 'Sgudi 'Snaysi, from 1986-1992 and has starred on Mzansi's hit soapies such as, Scandal, Stokvel, The Queen, Imbewu and many more.
The festival celebrates the talent of performers, designers, directors, producers, and technicians from across the US and abroad.
The National Black Theatre Festival takes place on July 29 – August 3 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
