South African-born, US-based Comedian and Talk Show Host, Trevor Noah and his show, The Daily Show, have scooped four major nominations.
This as the nominees for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards have been released.
Every year the prestigious NAACP Image Awards recognize and honour African-American achievements in film, television, music, and pop culture in general.

Among the biggest names in the world, Trevor has scored four nominations, namely: Outstanding Talk Series, Outstanding Variety Show, Outstanding Host in a Talk Show/Series, and Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series.
“Thank you so much to everyone who's been a part of this journey,” Trevor said on his social media.
The 50th annual NAACP Image Awards will be held on March 30th 2019 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
