Tellaman and Nasty C might drop a joint album in the near future.

Singer and producer Tellaman, real name Thelumusa Owen says he enjoys working with rapper Nasty C.

The deadly duo's chemistry in the studio has seen them create bangers like 25, Strike a Pose (SAP), Don’t Do It, Dance, Don’t BAB among others.

The singer says what makes their working relationship so effortless, is their friendship outside music.

“Our relationship goes beyond music," he told the Daily Sun, "we’re friends, we’re brothers before the music so the songs we have put out are songs that we literally just were messing around at the house just playing with ideas at the time and then we ended up having a lot of good songs out of that."

Tellaman said fans should be on the lookout for a possible joint album from the pair in the near future.

“We still have a lot of unreleased material, we might drop a project together soon.

“That’s just how relationship has been, we’re very close, so it’s easy to make music.”

While they have both done very well to put Durban on the map when it comes to Hip Hop and RnB, Tellaman believes the Hip Hop scene in the city isn’t getting the attention it deserves.

“I think the Durban Hip Hop scene is kinda quiet,” he said, “it should be one of the biggest in the country because of the talent that we have there.

“All the big artists I can think of come from Durban, we’re gonna get there eventually though.”
