accreditation
Hot rapper Stilo Magolide has sent Cupid on a noble mission.
And in his quest to find romance, he has given the messenger of love a clear description of the woman of his dreams.
His latest single, A Minute, handpicks the attributes Stilo wants in a partner.
Said the rapper, whose real name is Michael Chirwa: “The single details the best characteristics of my ex-girlfriends and lays them bare.
“Ultimately, the song celebrates love. It’s also about my hopes of those specific characteristics manifesting themselves in my next girlfriend.”
He said the single was from his second album, Tropicana Jiig, which was released late last year.
The rapper from Turffontein, south of Jozi, told SunBuzz he is single.
“The song talks about how I haven’t seen her in a long time, so my perfect ex and I hold hands and go to the park and have ice cream.”
Stilo said A Minute would also appeal to couples.
“Look, we’re getting new listeners for the album every day,” he said.
Speaking about his alias, the rapper said Stilo Magolide was a combination of the Latin word for “style” and the Zulu word for “gold”.
He said he is working hard so he can one day tour the continent and perform abroad.
“I have a unique sound and story to tell,” he said
