SINGER Rowlene Bosman is fast becoming hot property.

After being signed by rap superstar Nasty C under his label Tall Racks Records, she has released her debut EP, titled The Evolution of a Robot.

The 21-year-old from Elsies River in Cape Town told SunBuzz: “It has a range of songs about my personal experiences.

“It’s amazing how positively people are reacting to it. I’m getting more love from my fans.”

Rowlene said working with Nasty C was a fulfilling journey as she had learnt a lot from him.

“I’m inspired by his work ethic. He’s focused and committed to music,” she said.

Her journey in music began at the age of 14 when she took part in local music workshops, which developed her as an artist.

“Growing up in a very strict home also helped shape me. I had a lot of people who supported my dream.”

She’s found comfort in music.

“I love that I can express myself. I make music based on how I feel to make it easy for my fans to relate,” said Rowlene, who plans to release an album next year.
