TV stars on Monday celebrated their victories at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles during the 70th annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
Notable winners included British actress Thandi Newtown for her role in Westworld.
She took the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series award.
RuPaul’s Drag Race won the Outstanding Reality Competition Series award.
RuPaul said: “Thank you so much. This is so lovely.
“We are so happy to present this show.”
American actress Regina King, who won the Lead Actress in a Limited Series award for her role in Seven Seconds, said: “I wasn’t expecting this but I am grateful.”
She thanked Netflix “for creating an opportunity to tell a story and hold a mirror up to what’s going on today”.

- Stephen Daldry – Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (The Crown)
- Amy Sherman-Palladino – Outstanding Writing for a Comedy (The Marvelous Mrs Maisel)
- Outstanding Director for a Comedy – Amy Sherman-Palladino (The Marvelous Mrs Maisel).
