While many were cooped up indoors trying to keep warm as snow fell in some parts of the Western Cape, local celebrity chef Siba Mtongana and her lovely family were out and about enjoying themselves in the unusual weather.
The Mtonganas are known to be an adventurous family that enjoys travelling and spending quality time together.
On this occasion, they did not even have to go out of the country to experience another fun family time, this time in the snow.
Sure enough, Siba took to social media to share the lovely moments from their “surreal” holiday.
“Our first time experiencing full on snow as a family in our own country,” she wrote on Instagram.
“The funny thing about snow is it always unleashes the child in you no matter what age... you simply can’t ignore it especially that it’s rare on our side of the world.. it’s just magical,” she added in a separate post.
